No, flipping the bird is a white power symbol. Support your local KKK.

Why wouldn't he just flash an OK normally if he was trying to mean OK? Why would he be trying to show OK when the interview context was about a dead mom and baby?

Trolling can have consequences. Perhaps people shouldn't troll. That goes for trolls of any political leaning.

As I said earlier, the guy is an ahole.

A man just put his life on the line for you and saved your life and you'd be pissed at him?

Wow. There's no helping you son. Maybe you should go tune back into MSNBC. They've got more outrage for you.

You guys have gotten beyond ridiculous with the way you constantly attack America and Americans doing their jobs.

MSNBC and it's cast of over paid self important limousine liberal pundits hate most of America. You see it on display every single day.
Having actually been in the Coast Guard, being a member of it doesn't make you acting like a idiot OK. In fact the immaturity of it reflects poorly on both the service and him. PERIOD.

This hand gesture has had some interesting history. It was claimed to be a white power sign by 4chan as a attempt to troll folks. Then the white supremacists apparently not understanding the intent to just troll people with it claimed it s their own...making it a actual real sign they flash to indicate their beliefs.

Which makes it both 4chans greatest troll in some ways.....and a actual white supremacist hand gesture in the end. Even better for the actual white supremacists is if they are called on it, they claim they're just messing with folks.

Bottom line though? If you're in the coast guard neither behavior is acceptable. You're a member of a professional service, act like it......at least while on camera you moron.

Personal anecdote isn't argument. MSNBC accused him of being racist. If you were really a member of the Coast Guard, one wonders why you aren't defending him.

That's simple. Hive minded, party loyalty is THE most important thing to zealots.
