You sure about that? How is oil created in the ground?
Yes we are sure, clearly you are not.
The current oil boom is mainly because we found new ways of extracting more of the oil than we could before, but it is still finite and the amount being used today will not be replaced for millennia.
What day is the last day that "the stuff stops oozing out of the pipe"?
"The world is no longer at risk of running out of oil or gas, with existing technology capable of unlocking so much that global reserves would almost double by 2050 despite booming consumption, BP has said. "' https://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/...s-BP-says.html
We are no longer at risk of running out "in the near term". It is still a finite resource. The current advances in extraction tech might buy us another century or so from where we would have otherwise have had to transition off of it, but the limiting point would still come.
But regardless of the increased amounts now available, we still need to reduce carbon emissions to limit the effects of climate change.
No it is not from dinosaur bones, but it does take thousands of years.
It is actually from all ancient organic matter, which would include dinosaurs, but they would only be a small component. Most dinosaur bones would be older than the matter in most oil fields.
