And this is why Hollywood really doesn't care about Trump supporters. They stare at Fox News 24/7, they don't go to movies, they don't read books, they don't go to libraries, they don't go to plays or concerts and they consider education "elitist".

There is no point and no money in catering to such an audience.

Every single time questions like this come up, the answers are always the same and include additional (and telling) comments like "I haven't been to the movies since John Wayne!".

Boy, some folks sure do complain about stuff on TV that annoys them. One would think they don't know how to work a remote control.

Change.the.channel.

Problem solved.
Why are you posting on this thread? I mean really?

Did anyone watch the Emmys show last night?

Why would anyone watch it is the better question.

So dramatic 'hysterical' -- lol

Their posts sure triggered you -- are you sure they aren't just pulling your leg .

Emmys sure did rattle your cage -- and you didn't even watch.

Oh well ---

I heard it was awful and cringe inducing with their arrogant clownishness. The theme was supposedly "diversity" (lame) Anyone actually see it?
No, I did not watch it, which is why I don't comment on how good or bad it was.

You took someone else's word for it, and here you are gossiping about something you know nothing about.

Had it on in the background, used to be in the Biz. It wasn't bad for an awards show. Actually took some pretty solid jabs at the concept of people virtue-signaling diversity. The opening song ("We solved it") praised the diversity in the room - "from Democrat and all the way to liberal Democrat!", asked a straight white male to please leave the sketch ("No, you can't be part of this") and introduced the dancers by saying "And now, checking every box, the One Of Each Kind dancers". Not laugh-out-loud funny, but decent enough.

Sorry, am I liking something you don't like?
