1 and 1 is 2. It is quite simple really. He was saying CNN is lying by showing Cooper exaggerating floodwaters that someone reading his tweet would only assume is Florence. If you can't put those two together, I don't know what to tell you.

Then again, Trump does love the poorly educated.

I watched it last night.

He played the clip that showed him in the water, demonstrating how deep it was, as well as showing the trucks plowing through he much shallower water on a nearby road.

The clip was from years ago, not this hurricane. And it clearly showed that no all the areas were as flooded as this.

Cooper also explained in the clip that some nearby areas were deeper under water, and some more shallow.

There were weeds growing up through the water right behind him.

I did watch it. Seems pretty clear-cut to me. Cooper from 2008 was even saying why he was in the water where he was.

But, I'll ask you again (but you won't answer), so why would Trump Jr include a picture of Cooper reporting from floodwaters with his tweet about CNN lying while Cooper just so happens to be reporting on a Hurricane in NC? Why not use some other stock photo of Cooper?

You don't need to answer. Trump Jr was intentionally misleading OR he's an idiot thinking a picture from 2008 was actually from 2018. Trump Jr's explanation after the fact is simply because he was caught in a lie or was shown to be an idiot. Pick either.
