Well, he threw rolls of paper towels to Hurricane survivors. That is the extent of his capacity for empathy folks.

It's so interesting that you happen to post this. I was listening to something that I've been meaning to post, that talks about exactly that - his total lack of empathy.

You can tell when he does grudgingly express something like empathy that it's usually because he's forced to read a speech.

This follows a conversation with the broadcasters who ask him about the fact that his buildings are well known landmarks and tourist attractions and that they are now targets for flying bombs. If you are now the owner of the tallest building in NYC, wouldn't you be a bit concerned that more madmen are going to seek out your building to destroy?

Here is a link that includes the actual audio/visual:

What is the lie -- that he said he had now the tallest building...but he did say it.

And yes he THEN said how awful it is....but I can't think of any human being who would first talk about whose building was tallest before the devastation.

It's not a lie.

It was inappropriate...it just was.

But it is always about him. He doesn't see the world any other way. The disasters are messes for him to claim he has done a good job saving people. Then it is about the people.

It just is -- and it isn't going to change. You can guarantee that the next somber moment he will say something inappropriate again.

If it is his character -- he should just shut up but I fear it's a combination of character and age. As we get older -- we lose our filter.

That's nice.

It's not up to us to track it down or to post it in here. The OP should have done that to begin with, guess he didn't care enough.

Okay, he said it. Where is the audio of the person he was speaking to? Yanno, so that people won't be making up lies about the whole deal.

He's so uninformed as well.

Someone talked about not having insurance. Trump said the insurance companies should cover it. They do -- but it is way too expensive for those folks...so they don't get the coverage and rely on government funding to help them out.

But Trump doesn't understand how some people can't afford the insurance.....he doesn't get that.

Many High Schoolers could be of more assistance and demonstrate more empathy and care.

We are dealing with a guy whose parents obviously did nothing to raise him appropriately. He must have exhibited Sociopathy for one thing, having been swept under the rug. He was allowed to and learned to skate by due to coming from money. And that is ALL he has ever been about. The big pretender. (Thank you, Drumpf family. ) And we see how his own adult children have issues.

Some apparently had such expectations of him in the beginning, thinking he was a "normal, capable, adult professional" (hah), with some still persisting on believing this, amazingly. Actually, I think some just don't want to admit what a mistake this has been and merely enjoy the opposition involved.
