This is why America will never have a leftist movement, all of our 'progressive' candidates are frauds:

The current Gov of FL, Rick Scott (R) almost ran Medicare into the ground. Now he's running for US Senate. Scott's company's Medicare Fraud was the largest is US History. He used the multi-million dollar golden parachute to fund his elections.

No surprise, Rick Scott(R) is Trump's buddy. They love to spend other peoples' money.

He is still in the election and doesn't want to scare off Bernie's support. Nonetheless he'll play to the middle as his donors want and start defining universal healthcare as healthcare everyone can afford. I know that sounds the same, but its radically different from single payer.

Follow the money, look up his political history, look up his hawkish foriegn policy and surrounding himself with DC think tanks (establishment propagandists).

Once he wins the election, that will be the last you hear about single payer. And for his other issues, they are mainly rhetorical run of the mill democrat stuff.

You may like that which is fine, but he is in no way a leftist candidate, not as he will continue to support the major corporate bodies that control the economy, continue to support extremist US foriegn policy (he is even more hawkish than usual).

My point is he is no leftist, and he'll do nothing to help the leftist movement in this country (if there even is one at the point).

He's clearly not a great candidate, but when the only other choice is a guy with his head so far up the orange maniac's ass that he can't think straight, what choice do you have?

Gillum can be for abolishing ICE but that is a Federal construct not a state one so it doesn't really matter what he says on this issue.

No he doesn't but he is going to expand Medicaid to the nearly 1 million poor Floridians who don't have health insurance thanks to Governor Rick (Skeletor) Scott and his hangup with President Obama & Obamacare.

I will be voting for Mr. Gillum in November.
