I went to a film and panel discussion about Trump canceling DACA. The film brought up valuable points in favor of continuing DACA.
The film however lied about Trump calling all Mexican immigrants rapists. The guy who made the film, a professor at Michigan State University, lied during the panel discussion repeating the claim. One of the DACA recipients in the film repeated the lie. Audience members during the Q and A were also repeating the lie.
The New York Times, the Washington Post, Time Magazine, the Associated Press, CBS News, and many other media sources have all published false information on what Trump said.
Trump has lots of offensive comments, why not just stick to the real ones instead of lying so much? Is the lie intended to get out more Hispanic voters in 2018 and 2020?
Bernie Sanders said "we have to pass a constitutional amendment that everyone in America who is 18 years old or older is registered to vote." Would liberals be fine with conservatives and FoxNews thus claiming that Bernie supports even tourists voting? It is the same pathetic logic that they make with Trump said all Mexicans are rapists.
I remember him saying" Mexico doesn't send us their finest...they re all rapists and criminals."
Oh and also he s always saying that "democrats want open borders" ...which is funny because his top econ guy Cohn told Trump open borders are important to big business .
Trump is lyin up a storm to hold onto 29 percent when if he would just "go with the experts" he d hit upwards of 70 80 percent popularity.
But no, he listens to Hope Hicks tell him the press has oppositional defiance disorder and is out to get him...and hangs onto " Hillary is much worse...lock her up" two years and running.
What he does daily is shoot himSELF in the foot.

The perfect example is in the demands of the accuser of Kav. wanting to go last instead of first.
The accuser has to go first or the defender has no way of defending against accusation details he hasn't heard. It would allow the accuser to make up any detail without it being challenged. Its not designed to get at the truth but to aid any lie manufactured by the accused should he/she chose to do it.

What the President said, specifically, was that “When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best [...] They’re sending people that have lots of problems [...] They’re rapists.” I don’t interpret that as saying all Mexicans are rapists, but the clear implication is that he is saying all (or most) of Mexican immigrants and/or illegal aliens in the US ARE rapists. Did the sources you are railing against give a different interpretation?
Media is a pure propaganda machine and that's what it does.

Anyone with half a brain and without an agenda knew that Trump was speaking of illegal aliens from Mexico. Legal immigrants from Mexico don't get "sent" they come on their own with authorization from our government. The fact is that some or many that come here illegally are those criminal kind but Trump never said they all were! Mexico is "sending" and encouraging their citizens to come here illegally when they can't or won't try to come legally and that aren't vetted for criminality as legal immigrants are.
If Democrats don't want open borders then why do they oppose the wall, constantly complain about illegal aliens being detained and deported and advocate for sanctuary cities? Why are they opposed to e-verify?No, it's the Democrats who are shooting themselves in the foot by the above.

I didn't know Mexico was sending anyone. I thought the people were deciding on their own to break into America?
Anyways we have seen that Trump is partly right when these illegal aliens deal their drugs, drive drunk, assault, rape, murder etc... etc... I would say that anyone that is a member of a gang or cartel is capable of anything.
Then again Trump was completely correct about the rapists if you listen to the liberal feminists that pretty much insist that any man is a would be rapist. Think Kavanaugh and all the women that believe his accusers sketchy story.

Mexico is "sending" and encouraging their citizens to come here illegally when they can't or won't try to come legally and that aren't vetted for criminality as legal immigrants are.
