What is that opinion based on? Certainly not fact.

"Use of Spanish declines among Latinos in major U.S. metros"

Spanish speaking declines for Hispanics in U.S. metro areas

Hopefully you're not one of those people who dismisses data unless it comports with what your gut tells you.

Oh, okay, now that I've read a few more of your comments, I see that you are, indeed, one of those people.

Have you ever heard of freedom? As American citizens, we all have a right to live among whomever we choose. And no one is going to start speaking English just because you're angry about it.

Good luck living in Tijuana, lol! How do these parents here illegally communicate with their kids if not by speaking Spanish to them? Their kids after attending our schools make speak less Spanish where have I said otherwise?

One of those people? WTH does that mean?

Where did I say you didn't have the right to live among anyone you want to? Where did I say that because I believe immigrants should speak English in public if they know how to can't do so because I think it's rude and arrogant? Am I not entitled to my opinion? Don't I have THAT right?

Did you mean underestimating the unwanted presence and influence of Mexico on the US? If so I would agree with that.

They need Americans' approval if they're foreigners! Most Americans want less legal and illegal immigration.

It does feel like Rip Van Winkle waking up and realizing you're in a foreign country.

1. As you stated, most Hispanics come from Latin America, which has a myriad of cultures. Even within Central America, there are various cultural groups.
2. The OP said North America, which is what I addressed. There is a difference.
3. and 4. I am right. Those who have problem with it donít like to learn. Doesnít matter what your native language is. It is an ignorant and lazy attitude to hold.

Well like I said the only people in America who need to learn a new language is those who don't speak English. English speaking Americans don't have to do anything language wise.

English is not the language of North America. The US is an English-speaking country, Mexico is a Spanish-speaking country, and Canada is bilingual English/French. If your biggest peeve in life is ignoring the telephone prompt for ďpara Espanol marca OchoĒ, then your life is boring enough to be pretty darned good.
