Read and the money distribution by the government funded NIH. and think again about how Trump has abandoned cancer research.


government spends about 5 BILLION dollars a year just thru the NIH. that is aside from the many billions from state, biotech big pharma and charitable organizations.


so let's subtract 260 million from 5 billion.... to get a good idea of the diversion.


average cost of a biotech/big pharma clinical trial is 30 -40 million. Multiple studies need to be conducted over many years.

Beside the funding is dedicated to specific accounts and is not redirected to other projects as if it were your wallet or bank account used to cover all financial costs.


Be concerned about the massive fraud and waste accepted by the federal government that runs into the billions each year. That is where your energy needs to be directed. If indeed you care about patients getting taxpayer aid.


FRaud, waste and illegal aliens add up to the multi billions of taxpayer dollars being misdirected away from thos it was established to help. Your government in action!
