Regardless of who you vote for, regardless of how patriotic you are, things change. What we have today may not be around tomorrow.
It's a scary thought, and as much as we wanna say "God Bless America", all good things come to an end. Nothing is promised.
Some think an idiot president will destroy us, some think we'll be destroyed economically boy foreign powers. Left things right will destroy us, right thinks left will destroy us. The truth is we'll never know.
But do you think we're built to last as a country or were we just a prototype that started with a great idea but had flaws to keep going and we won't be the same country in the future?
Today, in Washington, DC, precisely the same anxieties are being aired – and the example of Rome is often explicitly cited. America, he claimed, was afflicted by precisely the problems that he saw as responsible for the collapse of Rome: “declining moral values and political civility at home, an overconfident and overextended military in foreign lands and fiscal irresponsibility by the central government”.
Not just Rome but the ancient empires of history, they all fell pretty much the same way and the u.s. is on the path. However, I believe we will fall from within and our rivals will seize the day.
btw: when the day comes that the Americans become the refugee ... chickens will come home to roost.

I believe we are going to fail, in the next 50 years, because we all can't get along.
And it started with Rush Limbaugh.
He's smart, actually a genius, but he will be America's downfall.
Rush Limbaugh ushered in Trump, who was the first President of all time who tried on purpose to divide us. I really don't think there's ever been a US president who purposely divided us, for the glorification of himself.
Those who could get out, have. Funny, we don't have the numbers, because they are not important enough to track?

Believe that? Seeing what there is on the subject is believing it to be real. Not fake news. But again, the major reporting agencies data, track immigrants, not emigrates. For those numbers, world bank and irs and those numbers do not encompass all of them as a whole.

The u.s. is run by two, count them two, political parties and that is a democracy? by what standards? Just because we vote in another dictatorship every four years, does not a democracy make.

What a load of old bollox this little gem is! :-D, the US will be fine, IT ISN'T AN EMPIRE, doesn't anybody know what an Empire actually is!?? The US is however a country that happens to be the size of a continent, it isn't going to be 'overun' by barbarian tribes from the North ala Rome! Its 2018 not 0018.
Pax Americana has not ended. A super power lasted for centuries, i.e. Great Britain started its rise since Elizabeth I around 1600s and didn't gradually fade until after WWI.
Militarily, economically and technologically, US is still No. 1 in the world.
