None of those were true. I was almost laid off thanks to Obama's direct interference, but 1000+ coworkers were laid off.

Lots of conservative white people got so upset we didn't have a white male in the Oval Office - preferably a conservative one - that they started seeing racial problems where there were none, or noticing racial problems they didn't pay attention to before, all because they were so afraid of the non-white guy in the Oval Office. They started blaming non-White people for everything they possibly could, because they are afraid of non-white people in power.

Here is a long-term chart of durable goods orders. Notice they bottomed out a few months after Obama took office and began rising sharply. Strange I didn't hear people like the OP telling everyone how strongly they were rising back then, even though they were. Now tell me, did durable goods orders not rise while Obama was in office? You don't even need a statistics degree to figure that one out.
Demand for aircraft is a long-term phenomenon that is little affected by politics or other short-term things. Much of the demand is from China and other overseas nations. In these durable goods orders reports, you can get a single Boeing order that skews the whole report - if some airline in China orders a hundred or so 737's you can get a big surge in aircraft orders for that month, which is typically reversed the next month, I might add. Because of this volatility, economists typically only pay attention to the core capital goods subcomponent of the durable goods orders, because it's a better reflection of business investment and is less volatile.

No, it was their money (plus interest and penalties) being returned to them. There is nothing to be upset about.
