I expected him to do as prior presidents and put his wealth into a blind trust. Theres a reason for it. I can give some examples. During the recent storm, instead of focusing on it, he was asking about his properties. A LOT of his concerns are about how things affect him and his children first, and the nation second. Foreign countries are paying attention.

At a minimum? He could have asked congress for permission. That at least would show that future presidents need to follow the laws.

And not in control? Thats laughable. Are you really so foolish as to believe that? Those piles of documents that he represented as him signing to transfer control? Were all blank sheets in folder. LITERALLY he lied right there. The reality? Its far more nuanced. He has foreign countries and folks seeking to influence him spending massive amounts on his properties. And he DOES make money that way. And its corrupting. And the people in charge of his properties? They will do whatever he tells them too. Period.

That wouldn't accomplish anything. You maybe are confused on what a blind trust is. Its to hold investments you don't know about.

He KNOWS he owns the Trump Organization. So a blind trust wouldn't serve any purpose.
