Any decent patriotis American who believes in fairness and truth in our justice system should feel the same.
You should be concerned about this no matter on which side of the political spectrum you are.
If you don't - and are willing to employ a scorched earth policy to ALL out institutions so advance your political belief - disenfranchising half the country - this country is finished.
Kavanaugh needs to be above partisan politics if the Court is to retain any semblance of fairness and impartiality. Pretty much a joke these days, but they should at least try.
He's clearly shown pettiness and bias. Inadvertently, he has shown he is unfit for the SC - or any bench for that matter.
Scorched earth is what Democrats are doing. Why did Feinstein sit on the allegations? Why didn't she go through the normal channels for such an allegation? Who released it to the media? What ANY American should be concerned about it is an allegation that brings down a political opponent. It's sick. The fact that you think it is ok, tells me a lot about you.
Sounds like the investigation is done. They one they haven't re interviewed is Ford herself. I am guessing they tried it as a delay tactic and the Senate Judiciary committee told them to pound sand. They are using her prior testimony.

Once again -- the Judiciary Committee doesn't have anything at all to do with the FBI investigation.
They VOTED to pass Kavanaugh up to the Full Senate. The FBI will follow whatever leads they have and continue to interview people. IF Ford does NOT grant an Interview, that is exactly what the FBI Report will show and they won't be "use her prior testimony" - they will say she REFUSED to grant an Interview.
Truly that is the most unbelievable part of her story.
She has a whole passel of witnesses...………...something most assault/rape victims could only dream about...…….and not one witness backs up a single tiny piece of her story...…….not even a possibility of any of it.
I guess she thought a party on an unspecified date should get at least a "yeah, it's possible" from her friends, but turns out no. She had to make it vaguely believable without being too specific, otherwise she could end up having her story definitely exposed as a liar if people could prove there was no way Kavanaugh and/or Mark Judge weren't there on that date.
The date certain is what got "Jackie's" UVA story exposed. Turns out the frat didn't have a party that night.

As anyone who believes in our Constitution should. But there seems to be more and more a growing number of folks who think the Constitution needs to be re-written. Whether they come right out and say so or imply it by the absence of acknowledging it.
And that more than any of this other circus is why I find the idea of Democrats being back in power so alarming.

According to Harvard CAP/Harris Poll: 60% of voters support the confirmation of Kavanaugh if the FBI review finds no corroborating evidence, including 40% of Democrats and 58% of Independents.
Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) said that he doesn’t anticipate the FBI’s final report from its inquiry into Brett Kavanaugh would be made public, adding that such a break from protocol “might actually hurt” the bureau’s ability to conduct such probes.
But he didn't say that it couldn't be leaked!
I wouldn't think for a minute that the 302 notes on every interview would be made public.
I would expect that McConnell and the Executive Committee in the Senate would write a Summary that is released. They can hardly act like they didn't get a report.
Anyone who leaks anything that is not part of that Summary -- is at great risk.
My take right now is that the Republicans are like the Voters -
FED-UP with this Leftist bottom of the barrel.
