I agree ..... I have no interest in "Ideology" based Justices on the US Supreme Court.
His history shows that he is not that .... BUT, what they attempted to do to him is horrific.

We can only Hope he an rise above that .... I do know that I won't ever forget what the Leftists attempted to do. The very idea that "You are Guilty, unless you can PROVE you are innocent" is so totally outside the bounds on US Law and norms ..... that it will be a long time before Normal People forget it.

Bottom Line -- the Leftists crossed a LINE that Normal People won't be able to forget.
It was a very BIG Mistake.

It s ONE poll. Anyway, once you win you lose your fire. Think of sports. The side that feels "we was robbed" is the angry one. For the right, this will be forgotten in a week, while for millions of women it's personal and deep.

So Murkowski will vote "Present". Still not good for her, I think. But this could be helpful, in that it could serve to discourage Jeff Flake from engaging in any last minute chicanery tomorrow.

Listening to Collins speak, I got the impression she was enraged by the Democratic hit job all along and was never considering voting no.

She didn't lie. Prove it.

36 y/o event - other than the main actors, virtually impossible to remember anything other than the actual event and who did it.

SC is a higher court than appellate.

SC is the most prestigious (at least it should be) and the highest court in the land - and the court of last resort.

Ergo, elevation to that court requires a higher bar - or should. 51 votes is wrong as it does not represent consensus.

Yeah..... well, your Democrat leaders are trying to help keep the fires burning hot by vowing to impeach him when they get the house.

Maybe.

But if those liberal shrews keep screaming in people’s faces, all bets are off.

And since they haven’t stopped screaming since 2016, I’m fairly certain the “blue wave” is strictly a fantasy.
