and I still have a problem with so many saying she was credible. I do understand the GOPs saying this, just to make it clear they want to give her the benefit of the doubt and not come across as jerks.Let's face it, everything today has to be PC> Now what they say behind the scenes might be very different. As I have said on here more than once, I have talked to my 3 kids, a boy and 2 girls, who are in her same general age bracket and they think her story is full of nothing but holes. Then I talked to me 2 30 something granddaughter and they too think she is not totally telling the truth. They also remember parties when they were younger and know kids do drink even at 16. that doesn't mean they think it is right, they just remember what went on and how, many times it was the gals that led the guys on. I can assure you all my kids are respected in their communities, honest and hard working adults, as are my granddaughters. They are educated, good Christians except for one that is an agnotic and still a dream of a grand daughter.They also know guys who did their share of beer drinking in their teens and are upstanding adults.
I agree with you that the GOP response is nothing but lip service.
The investigation will cast enough doubt on party boy that it will give Cheeto Jesus the cover to pull his nomination while still blaming dems for bringing down a ‘fine man’. The only reason he agreed to an investigation is because he didn’t have the votes. Still won’t.

Says who? Friday the mainstream news was reporting the FBI was limited to only investigation Dr. Fords allegation. It was reported yesterday they interviewed the 2nd accuser. So obvoiusly Fridays reporting was wrong. So how do you know the FBI is only allowed to interview two witnesses?
This this confirmation is so far off the rails with both sides spewing hysterical half truths and selling outrage to the masses that it’s practically irredeemable. Everybody loses no matter what happens next.

I think that right there is a valid reason to extend the deadline. I was a bit disheartened to hear that the FBI won't be investigating Kavanaugh's drinking habits. He's under oath saying he never passed out. Seems like people that knew him in high school and college are saying otherwise.
Glad to know you (and other Republicans) support giving a liar a lifetime appointment to the highest court in the land.
Republicans believe it's OK to lie under oath as long as it gets them the result that they want.
