Yes they do. In fact they hate us. In late 2016 (weeks after the election), fires deveatated gatlinburg TN, and wild fires burned widespread across the eastern part of our state. A lot of damage was done and 14 people were killed. The internet and social media were full of hateful comments about how we deserved it for voting for Trump and some even wished for the whole state to burn. I will never forget seeing that kind of hate aimed at us because of our political values. I learned how much people in some parts of the country truly hate us.
Many people I know in TN do not support Trump at all. I talked with a woman last week who had been a conservative all her life until 2016. But of course, you have that on the other side too.

I know I am supposed to bow in everlasting guilt for slavery but I refuse. I am tired of putting up with my race, gender and religion being attacked by these liberal loons, AND if I dare stand up against it I am a bigot, racist, nazi etc...
I am done with it, don’t care who is offended. White Christian men built this nation, innovated and invented, established our constitution and laws, in short they made America what it is. Are you free? Do you have a job?, House? Electricity? Do you own a car? Have a computer? I could just sum it up to do you live a first world existence? If the answer to most of these questions is yes then thank a white person. I am tired of all these SJWs trying to re write history to obscure the truth that white people made our world what it is.
I am not sorry or ashamed of my ancestors. I refuse to accept the narrative being pushed that I should be. I am not saying white people are perfect but it’s easy to find major flaws I every other ethnic group on the planet. People of all races do evil things, stop acting like my ancestors are the only ones who have made mistakes. Stop demonizing my ancestors, many of us white people have just about had enough.

I'm not excusing those comments, but how are they really different from the way your side attributes every natural disaster, school shooting, and economic crisis to God's judgment against gays and abortion? I do not really like Trump either. He is a braggart and a bafoon. However he was better than Hillary. I am a staunch conservative and I believe we could have done better than Trump. I wanted someone more conservative and better behaved than Trump.

I'm not excusing those comments, but how are they really different from the way your side attributes every natural disaster, school shooting, and economic crisis to God's judgment against gays and abortion? When bad things happen in other states the only thing I notice here is collections for the victims and prayers for those affected, this happens whether it is a blue state or red the disaster happens in.
