As in, like "natural disaster?" If so, I might agree.

But, no... people were to blame for this stupidity.

And why are their SCOTUS picks so important? So they can ram their religion down everyone's throats.

That, and the fact that SCOTUS judges are there for a lifetime; one of the stupidest features of our democracy. 10-15 years, around half a generation would have been more logical. But since that is not the case, this court will determine the direction of SC legislation for generations to come. Even if they do represent the current citizenry, who knows whether in 30 or 40 years the old creakers will reflect the beliefs of our children or children's children.

I know a lot of Trump supporters. Not a single one believes that crap.
It's certainly more than one...

You simply don't know all the people who are Trump supporters who DO believe that crap.

You are overstating the religion part. (note I did not say it was important) Many of them are economic conservatives also. Many love the corporatist rulings. I go to church with them and hear what they say. Many would love to see minimum wage laws abolished for example.

And neither do you.
Your link is about a film based on a book by one nut job.
Funny thing about a lot of threads on CD is obscure actions or ideas by some outlier are rolled out as if they are common occurrences or the norm even when all evidence suggests otherwise.

I think it is possible that Trump's election was "an act of God" but not in the way that evangelicals think so. I mean God will allow the beast and the false prophet, the son of perdition and the "man of sin" to have their day of power before Christ comes to destroy all their evil works, so in that way, perhaps Trump was appointed by God to be a vessel of dishonor. I truly can't understand anyone naming the name of Christ who does not find Trump to be a very wicked and disgusting man.
