Hmmm....I have been receiving weather alerts and Amber Alerts for years. So, now they are re-named "Presidential Alerts"? Why?
They are not. Those alerts are localized. This is a NATIONAL alert. Everyone in the country that has a cell phone turned on and close enough to a tower gets the alert.
Why would one not want the alert? Say, you are driving listening to music that does not have live broadcasting and there is some sort of emergency. I would think everyone would want to be alerted. In reality, this is not about Trump.
In the wee tiny brain of libra-tards everything is about Trump, he lives in there head 24/7.

Because Trump sent it. Back when this was envisioned, they had the now wistful notion of a trusted and competent president coming before the public to warn of an unfolding emergency - like in the movies. Now it seems to most of us more like an offensive intrusion by an incompetent, vile man into our lives.

Nation wide rip-currents.....interesting, but I guess it is worthy of an Orange Alert.
I don't need this kind of government intrusion in my life
I can imagine what I-95 looks like when people are driving 70mph and suddenly everyone checks their cell phones at the same time. Carnage.
