Yeah but the states with the most guns are also some of the fattest. If you lot dropped the guns and went for a jog once in while we might have a shot at successfully defending America.

I don't consider road hunters drinking beer as a regular hunter. First off those two things are already illegal. If you want to see some fat Americans go to Comic-con.
My group can put into 10 miles a day with 1500 feet elevation change. We bring game out in packs. This kind of exercise won't allow anyone to become fat.

Uh, if it came down to public militias trying to remove this govt by force...the military would be the ones they are fighting against, not to mention in a situation like this, even local police, and state police would probably be the first line of resistance any militia would come up against...

Try to keep up. We are discussing the Rightie fantasy of gun owners protecting America from foreign invasion. Not the Rightie fantasy of gun owners protecting themselves from government takeover. You need to start a new topic for that.
Great point about training. Even the militias in the American Revolution weren't just a bunch of guys grabbing their guns and going out to meet the enemy. They were well-prepared militia companies self-trained in weaponry, tactics and military strategies.
Maybe, maybe not. Some militia had military training and backgrounds that were typically better educated in general. Most militia were farmers, town workers etc., little to no education, that went to monthly drills where they practiced some rudiments but mostly drank and socialized. Their biggest asset was they were hardened to the outdoor life and knew the land.
