The race between Faso and Delgado in NY's 19th district has been heated. The latest is this captured audio of the Delgado campaign bussing people from NYC to act as campaigners in upstate NY as if they were from the area.

NYC people have no idea what diary farmers want, but they are going to pretend that Delgado has more support in the area than he has.

If it wasn't "such a big deal" (as I'm sure I'm going to read from some on here), then why tell the people being bussed not to tell anyone that they are from New York City?

Just like the elites...thinking they know what everyone else is concerned with.

OFA and Indivisible do this constantly. Its all the Swing Left, MoveOn, Forward, etc people. The usual suspects.

They are always road tripping and busing agitators around to shill and canvass.

Who cares if they’re bussed in? Are they voting outside their district? No.

Perception. To give waverers the idea that there's greater support than there really is and they need to go with a winner. Same reason candidates put signs in front of empty houses.

As an upstater and Manhattanite that is reasonable. Upstaters have a well established distrust and dislike for city folk. Unlikely to work though. Too much accent difference. I could pick up most city folk in a minute or less.

Right on cue.
Right on cue for what? Are they voting outside their district, yes or no?

Republicans steal elections and pack the SCOTUS in order to make it actively political and this is what you complain about? For shame.
