An odd situation that is hardly the norm. But FWIW the woman was out of line and yes, probably has bit of bias in her psyche.

Not sure why a black babysitter would arouse any suspicion.

Not the same thing, but my son had several black counselors while he was a toddler at daycare. They were all great and really helped him to develop. I made sure to thank each of them individually as they had a major role in his upbringing.

So I'm a real believer when you read something like this, you go search for the "more to the story". He's making the rounds on Good Morning America and the Today Show, so who knows if some other clue will come out.

I found his facebook page, and am a little surprised at his self-promotion of "inspired by Lewis", but other than an outsized ego, I'm not sure there is a "more to the story".

So here's the scene, apparently. These two white kids are standing there in a Walmart Parking lot with a young Black adult, standing next to a car for some length of time, not getting in. That would attract my attention as well, even if it were a young white man and two black pre-adolescents standing there by a car. That looks eye-catching. I think in either case I might get the license plate and watch for a bit, too. I might even ask if they were having car trouble or were stranded.

At least yahoo didn't run with the title "white woman" like CNN does.

330million people in the country, of course they promote these stories to national news.

Don't fall into the trap though, the media used to run all those "Black man robs liquor store" stories etc. etc. and that too created a false public perception.

They're for profit corporations trying to get ratings. Don't let what they serve up skew your thinking into this being something that is common.

The leftist agenda is not trying to draw attention to baby sitting while male. Its to be marked as a black thing, not an anti-male bias.

In fairness, I was wondering this myself.

I just don't see a black woman drawing the same attention.

Not sure you're going to see that point brought up on the talk-show circuit because that's not the message that gets you on the talk-show circuit these days but rather kicked off of it in a heartbeat.

It's about time we get more stories like "babysitting while White". However, that might apply more in South Africa or Asian countries.

And why would it? Black women have been raising white children for decades.

I think the whole thing is about white people calling the cops on black people. That's been the media theme all year.

This is so sad...on so many levels. That poor man.

Well, at least he wasn't shot by the jerk cop, so that's a victory.

Actually, it sounded like the cops acted appropriately. It’s the woman who was the jerk in this case.
