They sign up with gender they were born with meaning only males. Those that are confused but are biologically male have to register. But all they have to do when drafted is profess mental illness and they won’t get drafted.

I say give them a pass. Morally wrong that they avoid the services but it probably is better overall.
If something so serious happened that we needed the draft they would start shooting these draft dodgers and it would be a miracle how it would straighten out their sexual identity.

hmm the draft ended in 1973, like or hate Reagan I really don't care but he never drafted anybody. Anyone still in the military in 1981 when Reagan became president wanted to be there.
