160 pages dedicated to a Democratic Senator from a deep blue state's 20+ year old claim that her family told he that she has some modicum of Native American heritage (which is seemingly corroborated by a DNA test) when she neither asked for nor received any tangible benefit as a result?
Why is this a thing?
Why did she even mention her family lore in connection with her employment at all, especially at a point when she could not document it?
"I was told by my family that I had ancestors who were Native American. Because of my respect for their great culture I wanted to embrace that part of my heritage. Modern genealogical research and DNA has shown that I have far less Native American ancestry than I thought I did. If I have offended anyone by clinging too much to a heritage I have too little of before the likes of DNA testing I apologize. "
Instead, she will likely continue to take Trump's baited hooks and hurt her chances to become president.
Warren would be in better shape if she did in fact Embrace the NA part of the heritage she claimed. She submitted recipes and claimed to be NA in the law directory. I haven't seen or heard any way she ever Embraced her NA heritage or shown respect for their great culture. NA friends, demonstrating on behalf of NA issues, using her white privilege to advance NA causes, taking part in Cherokee customs or traditions, pics of her meeting with NA leaders, etc. ?
Nothing would change the Pocahontas stuff from Trump and many others, but she'd at least have something to indicate she saw her NA heritage as more than a potential career advantage.

It suggests that's all Trump has to attack her with.
Not much.
Bickering like kids.
And the voters eat it up.
Yep. The whole thing is moronic. If I listed myself in a school yearbook as having an African American relative somewhere in my family tree because my mother had told me I have an African American relative somewhere in my family tree and, 20 years later, a DNA test showed that it was likely that I had an African American relative somewhere in my family tree 6-10 generations ago, what would that mean?

Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
Stop emoting and start thinking rationally... How would have Penn and Harvard even know Warren's a minority unless she specifically tells them so?
There's the source of the problem: Warren, herself.
I never said she was hired on affirmative action. However, even to mention it in any professional capacity means she expected to get something out of it, and Harvard has claimed her as a minority hire.
So what specific benefit did she gain, or is all the furor over some universities using her in publications.

Your inability to recognize and understand the abhorrence of virtue signaling is right on par with any card-carrying Marxist.
