According to the EU the deal is 90% done, and it's only a few remaining issues that need to be resolved.

As the MEP Daniel Hannan pointed out yesterday, there's nothing to fear from a hard brexit, we could still trade abd revert to WTO rules, and even countries who aren't allies manage to make deals regarding borders, trade, transportation, avation etc.

The worst thing we could do is stay in the customs union, as this would mean paying the £40 Billion, not being able to make trade deals with other countries, being frozen out of any future EU trade deals and would mean we continued to be dictated to by the EU and it's Courts.

All this nonsense that I have heard over the last couple of years has been unbelievable, it's the millennium bug and end of the world all over again.

Is a Brexit revote possible? Lots of obstacles in the way, but...maybe?

The article even states there's not time and the only vote Parliament will get is as to whether to accept a deal or not.

It's up to Theresa May and the Government whether to put a second vote before Parliament and she has already stated that there will be NO second vote and you have to respect the fact that on the 23 June 2016 the Leave vote of 17,410,742 was the single highest vote for anything in UK political history.

Theresa May says there won't be a second vote on Brexit | Metro News

You will not find much sympathy for the EU in the Conservative Party, indeed there are some extreme hard liners who want a tougher stance and even a hard brexit.

Theresa May already has Brexiteers waiting in the wings to challenge her, Boris Johnson would certaionly make a leadership bid, Jacob Rees-Mogg is another, whilst populist Nigel Farage and UKIP would also come back to the campaign fold.

Similarly the left hasn't been fond of the EU either, the subsidised Common Agricultural Policy being a very thorny issue with the left, as it was very protectionist and prevented countries in the third world from trading fairly with the EU.

You can go on and on about a second vote, however we have had nearly 19 months since Article 50 was submitted, and have just over 5 months left until we leave.

We leave on the 29th March 2019, and after then there has been a transition period put in place whereby we can still trade and operate as normal fr a further couple of years whilst negotiations are completed, indeed according to the EU themselves over 90% of the negotiations are now complete.

A new vote on Brexit seems doubtful.

Even though the EU is saying the deal is 90% there, it is uncertain that what has already been negotiated will be even be approved, let alone the toughest 10% that remains to be negotiated.

One in four chances of a hard Brexit and all the chaos without that 21 month transition period.

I said from day one that Brexit would never happen. The Brits are powerless to make any real change to their country. Since they gave up their weapons they live in the same monarchy they did 500 years ago.

It happens automatically on the 29th March 2019, which is just over 5 months time.

The monarchy has little power in Britain, or did you not read about Magna Carta, the English Civil War and the reform acts.

We did not give up our weapons, a lot of people have shotguns and hunting rifles and shooting is a poular sport.
