I voted for her and would vote for her again if she were to take the nomination in 2020, but I really hope she doesn't run at all. If she does run, I hope she loses the primary.

How sad for you.

Since there is no "I don't care, I will not vote for her!" choice, I can not vote.
Neither "YES" nor "NO" is acceptable to me.

I actually want someone on the Democratic-Socialist side being President. They will help everyone, and not just the rich.

Yet here you and Alpha are.

It can't be that offensive to either of you, or neither of you would be here*.

This. I voted for Hillary and thought she would have made a fine president, but it will never happen because too many people don't like her. That's why I don't want her to run. To become president of the U.S., a candidate needs to project a certain macho swagger, which is not Hillary's style at all. Look at the last several presidential elections:

1976 - Carter vs. Ford
1980 - Reagan vs. Carter
1984 - Reagan vs. Mondale
1988 - H.W. Bush vs. Dukakis
1992 - H.W. Bush vs. Bill Clinton
1996 - Bill Clinton vs. Dole
2000 - W. vs. Gore
2004 - W. vs. Kerrey
2008 - Obama vs. McCain
2012 - Obama vs. Romney
2016 - H.R. Clinton vs. Trump

In every single one of these elections, the winner was the one who was either (a) taller and/or (b) behaved more like an alpha male. Americans seem to want a cowboy for president - a guy who rides into town brandishing six shooters and making big promises. Until this changes, we won't be ready for a woman president. When a woman behaves in that way, she is seen as being either too entitled, a ball buster or a witch that starts with a B.

One reason is because I can only recall once in my lifetime when a losing presidential candidate ran again (and won), and that was Nixon in 1968, after losing to JFK in 1960. After that, losing candidates may have remained in politics, but never run for president. It's been fifty years since 1968, and Hillary would be wise to follow the examples of McGovern, Kerry, McCain, Dole, et al.

But the other reason is that I think that Hillary has used up her political capital. She may have been suitable in 2016 (or not, depending on your point-of-view), but her time has passed. The challenges the United States will face in 2020 will be different, and I doubt that her 2016 vision for the United States will be suitable for 2020.

Well, she did start her politics on Nixon's campaign, right?

And no, the Dems should not run Hillary again...at least not if they want to win.

In all honesty...if the economy keeps close to this growth trajectory...it won't matter who runs, Trump will be re-elected.

I disagree with almost everything you said. Here's my take on these races:

1976 - Carter vs. Ford Watergate prevents Ford from being reelected
1980 - Reagan vs. Carter Carter's presidency was a disaster. Enter Reagan.
1984 - Reagan vs. Mondale Reagan landslide due to doing a great job
1988 - H.W. Bush vs. Dukakis Enough voters wanted a 3rd Reagan term
1992 - H.W. Bush vs. Bill Clinton Clinton was a great politician
1996 - Bill Clinton vs. Dole See above
2000 - W. vs. Gore Toss up election, W squeaks by
2004 - W. vs. Kerrey Toss up election part 2 - W wins by a bit more
2008 - Obama vs. McCain Hope & change against an old guy
2012 - Obama vs. Romney 4 more years of socialism against a Wall Street guy - an easy target for O's campaign
2016 - H.R. Clinton vs. Trump Finally - we were given a true outsider to vote for, and he was running against the worst candidate/campaign I have ever seen. Welcome Donald J Trump.
