"Border Patrol agents on Friday stopped a caravan of 128 people that illegally entered the U.S. from Mexico into Arizona, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials said Tuesday evening." (this was in Aug)
"In June, a caravan of 31 parents with kids was found trying to cross the border."
"In March and April, the U.S. saw the largest caravan, consisting of approximately 1,000 people, mostly from Honduras, trying to cross the U.S.-Mexico border"
That may not include smaller groups that had splintered off and who tried to enter in much smaller groups or in single numbers, and probably does not include those that had slipped in unnoticed and who may still be in this country.
With the current caravan, groups had split off from that one and had already tried to enter our country. Some were arrested, I don't recall how many offhand, but it is probably unknown if any of them successfully sneaked in.
BTW, Your winter didn't stop hundreds of people showing up at the Canadian border demanding entry. Heck, some even showed up in a sparsely populated area of MB during a blizzard. Did you forget about all that?
Yeah we had thousands of refugees crossing our border, those people were afforded dignity and respect and due legal process
They werent threatened with guns or have their children taken away and to date theres been no small pox or bubonic plague assosciated with their arrival, some fulfilled the refugee requirements and stayed others were sent home.

No diseases because they were all coming from the US, thus they had been vaccinated. Big difference between them and those in the caravans.
Do you understand the magnitude of this caravan? We're not talking 100 or 200 people. We're talking about thousands.
And now Trump says soldiers with PTSD are not strong. This from a man who would wet his panties if faced with combat.
Right. He is incapable of anything, mentally or physically.. and he is going to dare to judge those having been in wars?? Dear God. (And he got out of going to war due to a (fake) bone condition).
He only thinks in terms of weak and strong, winning or losing, apparently impacting him during childhood and remains prominent in his infantile brain (not knowing he is the weakest and biggest loser, ever). Idiot.
I can't stand it.

Bu.., bu.., Trump.
You drag it off topic, but heck if you want to bring up mccain, fine...mccain hated POW's, MIA's and their families. Because mccain had something to hide, and had managed to use his position to hide things, it seems that we had abandoned many hundreds of our guys.
"John McCain, who has risen to political prominence on his image as a Vietnam POW war hero, has, inexplicably, worked very hard to hide from the public stunning information about American prisoners in Vietnam who, unlike him, didn’t return home. Throughout his Senate career, McCain has quietly sponsored and pushed into federal law a set of prohibitions that keep the most revealing information about these men buried as classified documents. Thus the war hero people would logically imagine to be a determined crusader for the interests of POWs and their families became instead the strange champion of hiding the evidence and closing the books."
Oh and look how mccain treated the sister of a missing airman...
"On November 11, 1992, Dolores Alfond, sister of missing airman Capt. Victor Apodaca and chair of the National Alliance of Families, an organization of relatives of POW/MIAs, testified at one of the Senate committee’s public hearings. ..."
"McCain, whose POW status made him the committee’s most powerful member, attended that hearing specifically to confront Alfond because of her criticism of the panel’s work. He bellowed and berated her for quite a while. His face turning anger-pink, he accused her of "denigrating" his "patriotism." The bullying had its effect–she began to cry.
After a pause Alfond recovered and tried to respond to his scorching tirade, but McCain simply turned and stormed out of the room. The PAVE SPIKE file has never been declassified. We still don’t know anything about those 20 POWs."

I don't want to get involved in the debate regarding veterans however in terms of the Caravan ad I have a couple of points.
Firstly those seeking Asylum under international UN Law should do so in the first safe country they reach with in this case is not the US.
Secondly if the US doesn't nip this in the bud then there is going to be an endless stream of caravans and economic migrants from across the entire South American continent as well as Mexico.
So it needs to be stopped before it gets out of hand, and whilst I appreciate Fox News going over the top and SNL sketches, that is the reality of the situation, and I am sure many Americans would agree.
People who want 'economic advantages' by breaking your laws are called criminals, not refugees.
If not, then feel free to welcome refugees into your house, pay their bills for them, and pat yourself on the back.
