I can cut her some slack for being old, as the best of us will lose some of our mental capacity despite others being fairly sharp. However at a certain point it becomes clear it is time to retire and enjoy the fruits of their labor for the limited time they have left.

Ginsberg is obviously past that point, but I seriously doubt she will gracefully retire. She is a hardcore leftist and will likely never retire, and instead die while on the bench.
I am not sure what if any procedure there is for removing a justice who is alive, but mentally unfit, and I imagine it is very subjective.

Ginsburg has more wisdom and faculties than the entire Cheeto administration. She exists on a different plane than the slack jawed, drooling idiot Cheeto supporters who have trouble spelling the word "constitution".
No president in the history of this country has made as many errors and told as many lies as the Cheeto has in half a term.
Intelligent people understand that you cannot retain every fact in your brain at all times and will often reference source materials before they speak. Cheetos have almost no factual knowledge and just make stuff up or repeat what they heard on Fox Ninny Network.

Considering her age, she seems sharp as a tack. She wanted to read the specifics of that amendment, because I'm sure that at her age, she cannot quote it... I don't doubt she knows the "gist" of it after all these years. Some stuff that you use all the time, you do not forget unless you have dementia and she doesn't show signs of that.

Yes... she is very old. But, that does not mean she's not intelligent and capable.

The SCOTUS is NOT a fast-paced bunch.

What the point of carrying one but not use it at all?

Maybe she's trying to find out what else in the constitution which she can rule against.

Yawn. Man you folks sure want her dead. Even today she is smarter then the average supreme court justice. Something which honestly amazes me. The day she dies will be a loss to the country.

RBG sleeps through SCOTUS oral arguments. She's like great-great grandma in the corner humored and suffered by everyone else.

she costs the Democrats big time, she could have stepped down a few years ago and Dems could put some 50 year old judge in her place. Instead the have Kavanaugh to serve for 35-40 years. Oh well, thinking ahead is not one of their strong points, just look who they ran for President ...lol

She stays as long as she is vertical. None of our basis is fungible. Mess with them, mess with our top position in the world. Lose that and future, possibly this, definitely future will have a lower quality of life.
