Way to go, take a legitimately serious issue and make a mockery of it by playing the race card.

The gas station manager had every right to call the police based on what has been stated. If a group of people are crowding a gas station and repeatedly fumbling with the emergency shut off button, would you risk the chance of it becoming an ugly situation, or would you rather have the police deal with it? Surely there is video that corroborates her story.

And now they are planning a protest Saturday at the gas station demanding the manager get fired for making a 'false' 911 call.

A white woman who called 911 on a group of black adults and children buying beverages in a gas station has been christened “Gas Station Gail.”

On Sunday, South Carolina activist Jonathan Thrower posted a Facebook video of what occurred after his group, which included children ages 1 to 12, attended a peaceful “Stop the Violence” rally in North Charleston

If the mob was turning the gas tanks on and off and touching property that isn't theirs, she had every right to ask them to leave. That isn't how civilized and lawful people behave and she had every right to consider that it may have turned into something more.

Ask and you shall receive LOL.

For what it's worth, I think it is very reasonable to not believe ANYONE as of right now, and wait for the official gas station surveillance video to be released to the public before drawing conclusions.

Maybe the woman who called police is lying, maybe people in the crowd are lying. NONE OF US KNOW BECAUSE WE WERE NOT THERE. So I'll just hold off on passing judgment until the gas station releases video of both inside the store (the woman claimed they trashed the store) and the outside video (the woman claims they tinkered with the on/off emergency gas switches).

We shall see. Meantime, this is the only video available that I've found.

I need more information on this one however I still say she shouldn’t have called 9-1-1. This wasn’t an emergency. If what happened was true just call the local cops. Stop tying up 911 emergency operators with nonsense.

Thank goodness for cameras. I too will withhold opinion until I get a better view of the total camera footage.

"community activist" makes me wonder about it being a setup. I want to see the gas station video before making a decision tho.

Like others, I'm going to reserve judgment on this one. Was she over reacting? Possibly. But we haven't seen security footage from the Murphy Gas Station showing the events leading up to the 911 call. There's only footage from the 911 call onwards.

The pattern is get video of a reaction, blast it on social media and make it go viral, idiot msm jumps in and helps to spread the partial story before facts trickle in. Once the other side of the story comes out they are onto another target, leaving destruction in their wake.

Exactly and 9 out of 10 times the initial story is bogus with an edited version of video to make the headline seem legit. We live in a make believe world now where you can't believe anything you see or read in the news or on social media. Everyone has an agenda, whether it's to drum up racial tensions, get rich through a law suit, get money through GoFundMe or to sway an election.
