how can anyone decide guilt or innocence of the shop owner or the thief based on a few second video clip that shows nothing that happened before the shooting? some are very quick to jump to conclusions.

In a still photo, the shoplifter appeared to have the axe in his right hand and was raising it, as if to strike, when he was shot.

The guy was carrying the ax by the head and clearly was no threat and was trying to flee.

Yep. And Wearing a hoodie is not an immunity to murder.

The right won't commit to any type of immigration reform but continues to allow the status quo where necessary immigrant labor is used to keep the US agriculture industry going, but said immigrants are used as boogeyman to rile up their base at elections.

It really is perplexing, and sad. Maybe non hypocritical right wingers will only consume agricultural foodstuffs they grow themselves or procure from other citizens. Not holding my breath though

776.08 Forcible felony.—“Forcible felony” means treason; murder; manslaughter; sexual battery; carjacking; home-invasion robbery; robbery; burglary; arson; kidnapping; aggravated assault; aggravated battery; aggravated stalking; aircraft piracy; unlawful throwing, placing, or discharging of a destructive device or bomb; and any other felony which involves the use or threat of physical force or violence against any individual.

racism still exists, and bigotry still exists, or some people wouldn't assume who was in the wrong or right based on a short clip and the skin color of the people involved.

not every crime involving a white person and a black/brown person is based on racism. I doubt most crimes involving white people and black/brown people are based on racism.
