I'm guessing you haven't heard of the gated communities in El Dorado and Placer counties in California.

You think illegals are living in single family homes all by themselves?? No! Many are living in relatives' garage, couch surfing, sharing a room with Cousin Manny, etc. If you kick them out, all you're doing is freeing up a lot of sleeping bags.

Why is it always the liberals who have to educate the conservatives? At any rate.....

Consider this case: Dad is illegal. Mom and the kids are legal. They live in a single flat. You kicked out the Dad, does mean the flat magically becomes vacant?????? You don't think the Mom and the kids will continue to live there???? Jesus right-wingers TBYP (Think Before You Post)!!!

After 37 years as an undocumented immigrant, Queens man is being deported, leaving family behind

Or one sibling in a household who is illegal but the rest of the family is legal? You kick out the brother and so what? The rest of the family still lives there:

Growing Up Undocumented When Your Siblings Are Citizens

See, this is why you right-wingers usually sound stupid regarding this topic. Most of you don't know the most basic of facts on the ground.

You mean anchor babies? You do realize that only citizens can make another citizens. Anchor babies are not citizens under the law, only by a policy propagated by one ruling from some senile old fool of a judge.

That all needs to be undone as well. The idea of birthright citizenship being a birth right of anyone present in the US is clearly wrong, and an inane interpretation. Its for citizens (and one court ruled also for LPRs, but that seems like it was poorly argued as well).

In any case, getting rid of the illegals (and their dependents and associates who want to stay with them) will free up millions of housing units.

Deport illegals and there will be millions of low cost and middle cost housing available. Far less traffic, too

You're no longer on the topic of "Illegals and housing", and firmly in the waters of "Who is a citizen". While it may be an interesting topic, it's also off topic.

It is not OT in any way. If we deport the illegals, then not only are we rid of the millions of them, but ALSO their extended family who might have other (even though they're incorrect/undeserved/fake) statuses.

That's a LOT of housing freed up for citizens and lawful residents, so much so that there would be no shortage. There would in fact be a major housing overhang.

Just TRY to get the lefty NIMBY bigots in California to get rid of the residential zoning laws.

Shouldn't Pelosi be setting an example for her constiuents? No gated communities. No restrictive residential zoning codes. Let's see Pelosi live the lifestyle she claims to "support."

Pelosi is of the common lefty elite NIMBY mindset: Hovels for thee but NOT for me.

You've never been to Chula Vista, Escondido or National City I take it? If the illegal parents are deported their children don't stay there renting.

I'll give you that it may free up a small amount of housing for a 5-10 year window. But those children will return to California.... you know that right?! They will be looking for housing. So basically the best case scenario is it gives a small relieve to a problem for small period of time.

I don't support unfettered free market capitalism or Communism I'm not sure what you're getting at. What exactly are you trying to say other than discuss semantics?
