That is it! Stop the investigation. One guy in the UK says they were sent by Dems so that is enough proof this is a false flag. Anecdotal evidence is all we need.
None of this is a legitimate incident intended to cause harm.
Someone built their own Hollywood version of what a bomb looks like. Why the heck is there a clock on a mail bomb? Why the heck are those wires so dang thick? I'm sure they're probably hot glued.
Legitimate (the puns just come) criticism for you did "modify" the phrase with "intended to cause harm."
I would not, though, downplay this - and here I was thinking of several posts not just yours but rather the word "legitimate" resonated.
The larger point is that there is a level of planning here that's unnerving. The bombs may be crude, perhaps even unusable. Mistakes made. The perpetrators easily caught.
We've become so inured to political discord that we seemingly progress from excessive Presidential rhetoric (IMHO) ... to the harassment of politicians in restaurants ... to various threats (the bread-and-butter no doubt of the Secret Service) ... to relatively easy but still profoundly illegal and disturbing actions (the castor seed letters) ...
Even the George Soros bomb was a news item that would have been relevant only for a day or so, with police soon willing to make official statements.
This, this is further along the spectrum yet. Seeming attempts to dismiss it as almost gag-like by some are problematic.
IF this was orchestrated by the left who presumably hold the officials involved in high esteem then sure no one was ever in any danger. But IF orchestrated by someone who truly wanted to threaten (assuming, that is, the lack of self-detonation was deliberate) then it's not unusual to encounter escalation in any next go-around.
Most disturbing is that when the FBI does weigh in almost certainly some posters will then allege that verdict to be tainted - if it's not what they wish to hear.
The stupidest thing the dem hoaxers did was immediately release pictures of the "bombs" to the media. That's not something that is normally done in bombing investigations.
So now the Dailymail is calling this lunatic the "MAGAbomber". You cannot make this stuff up.
Oh and now Jimmy Carter was told to be on alert because he could be next??? Jimmy Carter? Has he been in any of Trumps verbal diarrhea tirades lately?
Timing is everything. I've already heard several former FBI, NYPD Detectives, etc., say they suspect this is a false flag. Three very important tell-tale signs:
1) Ridiculous-looking obviously fake bombs that look more like movie props than actual bombs.
2) People at CNN casually hanging around taking photos of what's supposed to be a "live bomb," displayed on someone's desk or on the break room table, next to a container of Clorox wipes, to post to their twitter accounts. As if someone would do that instead of getting the hell out of there if they actually thought it was a bomb.
3) That very casual treatment of the supposed "live bomb" by those taking photos at CNN, and then the NYPD comes in and carries it out in a "total containment vessel," and drive it to their bomb facilities in the back of a specially-equipped, explosion-containing truck. Someone or someones at CNN already knew it wasn't an actual bomb, while the NYPD treated it like it was.
Very fishy...
Also, former NYPD Commissioner just now saying the package bombs suspiciously appear to be a false flag op.
This, this, this! Why people continue to fail to accept that your point 2 is not "conspiracy" or "overreacting" or whatever other dumb word they want to attach to it, convinces me even more that this may very well be a hoax.
No one. Not a single one of you, not one of you on this entire forum, no one, would ever stand right next to what they perceived to be a flippin bomb and take photos of it. None of you would do it. If nothing else about this convinces you that there's questions to be answered, that should. I guarantee that if you got something in the mail, or delivered by courier, and it looked like a bomb, the first thing you would do is get the hell out of the area. The last thing you would do is pick up your camera and start snapping photos of it, pulling it apart to find a sticker/flag inside, take photos of that, as well - on an alleged bomb that you actually believe can blow up on you.
Not one single person here would manhandle and then photograph what they thought was a bomb in a package.
That should make you ask questions. Put your bias aside, put all other theories aside, put aside that bomb technicians have already said it looked fake....you're at work, a package arrives, you open the envelope, and it looks like a bomb.
Do you:
a) get scared and run the hell away
b) pick it up, play around with it, pull out a sticker, and then stand there taking photographs of it
