Sayoc was a body-builder - but he looks overweight and very disproportionate and appears to have a beer gut. Unusually big arm muscles, and it's been debated elsewhere that he might have been a steroid user, which can cause emotional control issues and volatility.
His notion of what is weak as opposed to what is strong may be colored by his background in bodybuilding, managing male strippers, etc. Early days yet - but this background may be a clue as to how he perceives strength.
Fascinating that Sayoc may well have identified with someone who models "strength" - even to adopting some of his terminology ("weak"). Trump uses that term to describe despised individuals while Sayoc used it to described despised groups.
So goes the path of one with a personality disorder or other mental derangement of some sort ...
This at the same time addressing what is literally physical personal weakness with the bodybuilding and the steroids.
Then Sayoc took himself off to show strengths via attacks on Trumpian-enemies.
Note that he did not attack a cause (say, bomb abortion clinics).
Thanks for this info. The full name was listed as Cesar Altieri Sayoc, Jr. initially. Altieri may be from his mother's side of the family, or perhaps his father is part-Italian in background.
As noted, no evidence he is Seminole, and I am glad the tribe has spoken out about this. His business does seem to have some Indian, presumably Seminole, connection, but he does not have that ethnicity himself from all I can tell.
One of the names he used on Twitter and Facebook was Cesar Altiero Randazzo
so, what you are saying is that it was the democrats and their hateful, violent rhetoric that pushed this guy over the edge..right? Trump NEVER told anyone to commit violence against these liberals
No ... that's not how the deranged work. To cover up their own inadequacies they over-identify. The theme of strength vs weakness is found throughout what is known of Sayoc's history.
He also spun some story about quitting the pizza place to go drive hazmat trucks.
With his history, that surely isn't true .. bad enough the guy was allowed to deliver pizza.
But you see the same theme ... bigness ... facing danger ... and so on.
And the head of the FBI was on ABC's evening news, saying just the opposite, that the devices were potentially explosive and extremely dangerous.
They're only explosive if you add some kind of switch that would set them off. Since none of these had anything like that, then "potentially" is a very loaded word.
Look, the guy is going away for a very long time, as he should. But let's not pretend that there was a deadly threat to anyone who was sent one of these bombs.
It's like saying someone could potentially die if you pointed an unloaded gun at them and pulled the trigger. Yes, if you fundamentally changed the situation by adding bullets.
