This is a gift to Avenatti. NOW, Kavanaugh will be under deposition. The FBI will actually have to interview all witnesses including Swetnick. Avenatti was trying to get his clients interviewed all along. Yet the FBI investigation was limited. Grassley has opened the box. Kavanaugh and his drinking buddies will be the main targets. Avenatti and his client will back up their claims. Grassley made a big mistake because Kavanaugh, the victims, their friends and family will all be subject to another trial by public opinion. Avenatti gets what he wants after all.

How are they going to prove she lied? By proving he didn't rape women? Trump didn't want the FBI to interview Avenatti's clients for a reason. We are about to find out why. Swetnick wanted to be interviewed all along. Kavanaugh will be the collateral damage.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and suggest that "old man Grassley" just might know more about the Judicial Committee, the Judicial Committee Investigation, the FBI, the DOJ and the LAW than you might think.

Reading the documentation for this I see a easy out for Avanatti and his client.

And its obvious that this referral isn't going anywhere. Its full of allegations, and idiocy about ow they are keeping confidential the names of people and companies that gave them information. Here is the thing-if you intend to prosecute someone, you don't get to hide who is giving you information. Thus its clear this is just so much nonsense.
Know what the worst part of that is though? I think they may have a legitimate case against Swetnick. But this is about playing political games, not about charging her.

There will be nothing to see. While they may have been referred, I don't think the FBI will charge. The document is full of sound bites, not chargeable actions. And I have to say...I wish they had put something simple and factual together. Not this nonsense. Because they have something on the woman, but not on Avanatti. They included him because they're afraid of him politically I think.
