So the obvious question is what if the drug companies that supply doctors offices refuse to lower their prices, what then. Besides, what percentage of drugs are dispensed in a doctors office as opposed to a pharmacy.

I don't think many on the left object to it until they get paid by the drug companies to not lower drug prices. This goes for the right as well though more are free market supporters. Both sides are guilty of this.
