The bottom line is Obama didn't know anything about building anything. He didn't know anything about healthcare. The only thing people consistently correctly can point out is Obama was a smooth talker and people like to consume his BS when presented that way.

Obama was a smooth talker, charismatic, and at times even funny with a good sense of humor. That is why he was so popular on the late night talks shows. Like many charismatic people, you WANT to like them. Bill Clinton had that ability also. However, Obama was a community organizer in way over his head as President. He used the Presidency to get rich.

In 1/09 Hispanic unemployment was 10.1%. In 1/2017 when Obama left office it was 5.9%.

In 1/09 Black unemployment was 12.7%. When Obama left office it was 7.8%.

Most recent unemployment data.

https://www.bls.gov/web/empsit/cpsee_e16.htm

The rate of civilian unemployment trends downward every year Obama was in office 1/09-1/2017. A problem created largely by a GOP president Bush.

Even veterans under Obama! Thanks, President Obama. Regardless if you agree or disagree with the numbers Obama bought us out of hardship that another GOP President Bush bought us into. Trump hasn't produced much except a larger national deficit. We see that by the downtrend in the markets and the tariff wars causing companies to lose profits and raise prices.

A good well done President Obama!

You mean Bush and Trump. Bush put this country into a recession and a global war that wasn't ours to fight. Obama must know more than Trump because Trump has tried over and over to destroy Obama care while risking SS and Medicare benefits. GOP presidents and Congress have failed this country for more than 2 decades.

I say what I mean.
How its twisted by any Bush or Obama bootlicker is out of my control.
I'm a willing supporter of anyone who puts America first.
Anyone who wants to make America great. It just happens to be Trump doing it.

What was the last we heard from Obama ? Fearmongering.
He made it the subject then engaged in it.
Without the teleprompter notice what a bumbling fool he is.
That's what he knows about. Not healthcare or the economy.

I'm no lover of GWB but it is obvious to even the casual observer that you haven't actually studied the issues you are talking about....just repeating with the typical Democrat points about Bush that are incorrect. Bush did a lot of things I didn't agree with but he did NOT put this country into a recession. The seeds for that were sown years before he took office. Now you can say that Obama brought us out of the recession but the fact is most of the programs were in place prior to him taking office. I guess you are alright with Obama and his SOS inferring in other countries such as Libya....right?

Just about all politicians have failed this country for a very long time, the initial (R or d) that comes after their name on the ballot doesn't make much difference.

President Obama’s administration deserves 90% of the credit for record low minority unemployment numbers. Consider the following facts (from the Bureau of Labor Statistics):

1. Overall, when President Obama took office at the peak of the great recession, unemployment reached 10.9%. The Obama team decreased unemployment from 10.9% down to 4.7% (-6.2%). Trump decreased it down from 4.7% to 3.9% (-.8%). Hence, Obama delivered 6.2% of the current improvement, while Trump has delivered less than 1% of the improvement.

2 For blacks, at peak recession when Obama took office, black unemployment was 16.8%. The Obama team decreased it from 16.8% down to 7.8% (-9). Trump has decreased it from 7.8% down to 6.6% (1.2%). Hence, Obama delivered 9 % of the current black improvement rate, while Trump has delivered only 1.2% of the improvement. Obama created 3.2 Million jobs for blacks, Trump has created 700,000. Now, who should get most of the credit for black unemployment? Obama not Trump!

3. For Hispanics, at the peak of the Great Recession, Hispanic unemployment was 19.5 million. Under the Obama team it grew by 6 million to 25.5 million. Under Trump it has grown by 1.9 million to 27.4 million. Hence, Obama has delivered far more Hispanic jobs than Trump and deserves most of the credit for the current unemployment rates.

4.In Obama’s last 16 months, job growth increased by 2.4%. In Trump’s first 16 months, job growth increased 2.1%.

All the stock gains from last year have been wiped away.
Trump has a so-called tax reduction in the form of an increased national deficit.
Companies are starting to lose money and passing it along to consumers in the form of higher costs because of tariff wars.

We are seeing the effects of Trump's economy now. I thought it would take longer but it's here.

Yet, radio silence from Trump on the stock market free fall.
Yes- and if we go back just a little further, we can credit Obama for freeing the slaves, winning WW2, and saving America from the Great Depression.

Simply -- the Great Recession ended in June of 2009.
It doesn't matter if people don't want to believe that -- it's a FACT.

2009-2016 were bad times, no wage growth, little job growth and an economy where people had to work multiple jobs just to keep food on the table. Things are getting better and will get better yet.

Pure B.S. Obama deserves NO credit. Nothing changed until then President Elect Trump announced his plans for tax reductions, cutting regulations and dealing with the trade deficit between U.S. and China and other countries.

Obama did nothing that would have change his record eight years of less than 3% growth. Everything Obama did had a negative effect on the economy.

So quit posting this kind of B.S. and trying to justify it with figures from BLS.
