Jews make up only about 2 percent of the U.S. population, but in annual FBI data they repeatedly account for more than half of the Americans targeted by hate crimes committed due to religious bias. The Anti-Defamation League identified 1,986 anti-Semitic incidents in the U.S. in 2017, up from 1,267 in 2016, and also reported a major increase in anti-Semitic online harassment.

What could have possibly changed in 2017 to cause this increase?

Outside of Agent Orange's party having ties to the KKK or Alt-Right and Trump knowing such people and Trump having said things that doesn't put Jews in a favorable, I too wonder why there is another rise in anti-Semitism. I get that you were probably being sarcastic with "What could have possibly changed in 2017 to cause this increase?".

At least 245 if those are attributed to one Jewish young man who made these hoax threats and was arrested for them. That is over a third of the increase done by one criminal making fake hate crime threats. Another hoax caller, a former reporter, was arrested for at least 8 threats.

Got a legit source? Oh and NO the SPLC doesn't count as a legit source...I don't really care either way...shall we count the ATTACKS on Trump supporters? I bet it outnumbers all these other hate crimes.

Much more Christian attacks including killing and persecution in America and worldwide that people seem to ignore and careless... where is the public outrage?!

The rise of hateful far left groups like Black Lives Matter and Antifa probably had a lot to do with the increase.

Jews have long been the biggest target of hate crimes. This is nothing new.

Suspect, 18-year-old dual citizen, ran a 'Dark Net' shop offering his intimidation and harassment tactics for money

A dual-national teenager was indicted in the Tel Aviv District Court on Monday for a series of more than 2,000 bomb threats and related actions against Jewish institutions, airports and police stations in the United States and other countries.

According to the prosecution’s special cyber division, which filed the indictment, the 18-year-old Ashkelon resident is also charged with trying to blackmail US politicians including Delaware State Senator Ernesto Lopez who spoke out against the bomb threats, even going so far as sending illegal drugs to his house in order get him in trouble with the law.

Yep, mentioned in post #3. OP has been avoiding her own thread. Same with Jojajn when she was called out in her thread.
