Jews make up only about 2 percent of the U.S. population, but in annual FBI data they repeatedly account for more than half of the Americans targeted by hate crimes committed due to religious bias. The Anti-Defamation League identified 1,986 anti-Semitic incidents in the U.S. in 2017, up from 1,267 in 2016, and also reported a major increase in anti-Semitic online harassment.
Outside of Agent Orange's party having ties to the KKK or Alt-Right and Trump knowing such people and Trump having said things that doesn't put Jews in a favorable, I too wonder why there is another rise in anti-Semitism. I get that you were probably being sarcastic with "What could have possibly changed in 2017 to cause this increase?".
At least 245 if those are attributed to one Jewish young man who made these hoax threats and was arrested for them. That is over a third of the increase done by one criminal making fake hate crime threats. Another hoax caller, a former reporter, was arrested for at least 8 threats.
Got a legit source? Oh and NO the SPLC doesn't count as a legit source...I don't really care either way...shall we count the ATTACKS on Trump supporters? I bet it outnumbers all these other hate crimes.
Much more Christian attacks including killing and persecution in America and worldwide that people seem to ignore and careless... where is the public outrage?!
