Now there's been a recent attempt by the trumpies to smear Mueller by paying some woman to accuse Mueller of sexual misconduct. The FBI is looking into it but it's obviously a fraud. Mueller in untouchable.

They know more and they know why the left is so easily duped and inconsistent on support for law enforcement.

Howie Carr: Rampant corruption the norm in FBI
Howie Carr: Rampant corruption the norm in FBI | Boston Herald

People tend to forget, or maybe never knew, just how corrupt the famous but incompetent Federal Bureau of Investigation has always been. This current scandal is just business as usual for the agency that has metastasized into America’s secret police.

The five murders were never officially solved, but one thing is clear: Whitey Bulger, who was paying off at least seven crooked feds in Boston at the time, did not pull the trigger. But Bulger figured he could still make a score off it.

So he called one of his dirty cops, “special” agent Zip Connolly, and ordered him to get the grisly crime scene photos from the Boston Police Department.

Another Boston fed involved in keeping the innocent men in prison for all those years: Robert Mueller, then the U.S. attorney, now in charge of the 13 angry Democrats charged with framing President Trump in the Russian collusion hoax. One of Mueller’s first hires as special counsel: Peter Strzok.

Again, Judge Gertner completely demolished the claim that Mueller had anything to do with the men wrongfully imprisoned. And she was the presiding judge in the lawsuit that was filed. According to Judge Gertner Mueller's name never even came up.

That's cheery picking.

Only Mueller picked his long time lying crooked FBI buddies like Comey, Strzok, and Weissmann.
All tainted by corruption in the FBI.

I am sadly struck by what a dark day it is in America when the goal of the President of the USA is to make Americans distrustful of America. He has created calamities like the one phma illustrates daily by his/her uncritical acceptance of allegiance to Trump over country.

Isn't it interesting its the same view democrats had before they decided to transform the country into a socialist/communist utopia. Now they support the secret police. Likely b/c they want to use it to help transform the country and were well on their way to doing it until Trump was elected. The turnover in leadership of the corrupt FBI and DOJ is seen as a big disappointment to the left.

Again, this is not quite accurate. From the NYT piece by Gertner:

Quote:
He [Alan Dershowitz] has said repeatedly that he saw a letter from Mr. Mueller, written during the period while he was in the United States attorney’s office in Boston, opposing the release of one of the four men.
But no copy of that letter has ever been produced, and Mr. Dershowitz now says in a statement that several days after making his remarks on the Catsimatidis show, The Boston Globe “revealed for the first time to my knowledge that no such letter has been found. I never repeated the allegation after that.” Still, he said, “further investigation seems warranted, since absence of evidence is not conclusive evidence of absence, especially in government files.”
Perhaps....
So the judge does leave the door open at least a crack. And it's hard for me to believe that Dershowitz would have lied about seeing the letter.
