Considering what he has done and said, Trump has gotten off light. If congress had any guts, he would be in prison for what he has done to America.

It is not a matter of guts...it's that he will place his signature on whatever POS legislation the GOP crime syndicate wants him to. If he didn't, he'd be long gone.

The leftist media controls the narrative that is presented concerning the treatment of President Trump.

They also controlled the narrative when Barry was playing Pres and if one is only getting their news from this source, they would believe that Barry was a god who was treated unfairly and that Trump is the devil who is worshipped by his voters.

These are controlled media being used to control American sentiment.

Many Americans have been trusting and gullible and even have believed the lies at some point.

The leftist media and politicians went bats*i* crazy and carried it too far when Trump won the Presidency which has proved to be their undoing. Americans woke up.

List the crimes if you dare. I'd like to know what crimes you are accusing our President of.

Just food for thought. God knows that Obama, Sotomayor, and Kegan had past behavior that would been very fertile ground for personal attacks on them, yet they were not levied in the fashion metered out current republicans. Why not?
Do tell, what have we done to bully the poor defenseless POTUS? I await your answer with bated breath.

I find this a fascinating concept...all of a sudden Presidents are criticized -- Trump is the first to feel the wrath - lol.

I remember when George W. was in office, I had Republican friends pouting over the fact he was so criticized for his policy on the war and his lack of economic policy. I was very concerned about the war in Iraq (not Afghanistan -- Iraq) and I was told by many conservatives how wrong it was to criticize the President.

Obama came along and guess what -- my conservative friends said he was the worst ever (even before he did anything)...We were all going to become socialists (8 years and nope)....etc. Fox News and Talk Radio -- railed all day long every day against Obama, his policies, etc.

Trump comes along -- and is brash, crude, basic, and loud....and puts himself out there daily making outrageous claims and spouting lies to campaign with -- and the folks call him out on it and suddenly Trump is the victim.

What would be interesting is if Trump stopped with the childish Tweets for a week and we see what the impact on the media would be.

The media didn't make Trump get into bed with the National Enquirer to silence Stormy Daniels -- and if this had been Obama instead Fox News & conservatives would be ALL over it and not let it die.

Look at the money and time spent to prove Bill Clinton was an idiot in the Oval Office with the intern.

Trump put himself out there for years with outrageous behavior and claims, and continues to say ridiculous things, using superlatives for the most ridiculous statements and just plain lying and it is the media's doing?

Aw come on.....LOL

The huge divide between Americans and both parties was our future and has grown sharper and more uglier. The big turning point as we all know was the Bush/Gore 2000 election that went to the SC. That was the first shot fired but the big cannon was the Trump victory where a small number of votes in 3 states gave him the win although loss the total vote count by 3 million.

The media loves and feeds divide and has reporters who are Geraldo/Woodward wannabees and trying to make a name for themselves. The stories to attack the other side are right out of Idiocracy, examples, Bush was in office a couple of months his daughters were caught and photographed doing some under age drinking. We learned that Mnuchin ate glue in the 3rd grade and don't forget one of the Obama girls hit a joint a couple of times during a music fest.

Is the divide really that deep? which is more of a clown show? the elections and stories in the press on the federal level or the elections and stories on the state level? Of course the clown show is on the federal level because that is where the power really is. I do not see the divide narrowing the parties have put there foot down and do not work together like in the past {see Clinton years}

The reason for such a big divide is we do not follow the 9th and 10th amendments as intended by the framers so we can expect the divide to grow and only get worse.

Everything seems bigger than it was with all the information we have access to.

The internet, the ability to have access to so much information makes everything bigger.

It's like comparing TV ratings for the big 3 networks NOW to their ratings in the 70's.....it's like comparing apples and nails...not even comparing information in the same category -- lol.

Trump uses social media -- and social media reacts. MSM media picks up on how we tweet, link, share, comment.......and if it is mainly criticism of Trump, his fans scream it is all the MSM media fault.

MEH ---

Neil Gorsuch wasn't accused of any sexual misdeeds or anything like that. He even ended up getting the votes of 3 democrats.

You also seem to be forgetting that the republicans deliberately didn't hear Obama's Merrick Garland nomination, which is a pretty cheesy thing to do. So yeah, the republicans have already dished out their slimy treatment of Supreme Court nominees.

The tales of Ms. Ford were clearly created/orchestrated by the left in order to dismiss Kavanaugh. Had the supposed perpetrator been a democrat nominee, we would have never heard of Ms. Ford. Apparently she had undergone a traumatic event in the past, but the evidence clearly shows that event did not involve Kavanaugh.

Get real. Sotomayor and Kegan have pasts that were rife for exposure and a circus similar to that levied upon Kavanaugh could have been conducted by the Republicans. It was not.

The tactics of the dems often involves personal smears to vilify the opposition. As a good propagandist knows, one must dehumanize and vilify an "enemy", such that vicious actions can be "justified" in achieving political goals. Dems view conservative views not as a different perspective, but evil incarnate. Simple strategies such as that appeal to a constituency who fails to grasp complex issues or ideology; one simply brands the opposition as "evil" and it eliminates the need to explain specific issues or political objectives.

The left has basically co-opted the tactics of other historical leftists, particularly Mao and Stalin. No one understood this better than George Orwell, who earlier in left supported Marxist ideology. When fighting for the left in the Spanish Civil War, he was exposed to the reality of leftist/Marxist ideology, particularly by Soviet advisors serving in Spain, and completely reversed his previous views.
