Yes. Many quit/went under. The taxpayers are keeping others alive.

Thanks Trump, and his loyal minions.

Wow. Fields are not left when a bankruptcy is filed.

It gets worse from here on. The TPP without the US (Trump in the dumbest economic move ever withdrew) goes into effect today making many US farm products like beef nearly 30% more expensive than those from Australia and other members of TPP that are eliminating tariffs. US commodities and goods will no longer be competitive in Japan and much of the growing Asian marketplace.

Weeds take over some, while some others still produce soy beans and no one buys them.

For whatever reason you see this as a good thing.....

I guess you just have to defend the "negotiator" no matter how bad things are.

Whether tpp would have been good or bad for the US is an unknown.

Our elected officials didn't even know what was in it when they were expected to vote for it by the left.

You should not trust business partners like that. So here we are. It's all a secret...but it's good for you...just trust us... we'd never burn you.

Soybean fields are not going fallow because of bankruptcies. You are pulling that out if your imagination.

Fields are also rented.

No I do not think bankruptcies are a good thing. However, farms have the option for chapter 12, which can be used to turn an operation around.

When a farm goes bankrupt the land is still farmed. It will be rented out or sold. It's not like when Jerry's juice stand goes out of business and ceases to exist.

Why do you think they didn't know?
