This goes for any kind of "out-group" or otherwise "different" group. If an out-group is very successful (Chinese in SE Asia are another), then the numerically dominant group will accuse them of all kinds of unsavory deeds, unethical behavior, etc. because they don't like people who are distastefully different to succeed. In this case, Christians didn't like the fact that Jews were succeeding, presumably because they saw it as threatening their religious beliefs (or if not based in religion, it's based on a perceived threat to their own cultural values - i.e. our cultural values must be wrong because not as many of us are as wealthy as the group with *those* cultural values).
In the reverse direction, a lot of people simply don't like a people's physical appearance or mental differences, or lack of powerlessness for whatever reason (That person's traits get on my nerves, are weird, or are deviant. Therefore THEY deserve to be kept down!).
From there, it's easy to do steps #2 and #3. If conditions are "right", then #4 occurs.

Democrats have a lot of nerve suggesting repubs are fascists when they have spent two years now trying to overturn the results of a legitimate election.
And the president has not tried to silence legit news, he has a problem with the hit pieces by news outlets working for the above agenda.

The Nazis banned firearms. Not from Jews only, but from everyone that wasn't a Nazi. Because the liberals in Germany started to see how evil the right wing German fascists Nazi party was and the Nazis had to stifle them and then kill them to keep their country White and pure. If there are any similarities (and thankfully they're tangential) that are to be had they are with the current nationalist GOP. Anyone not wearing blinders sees that.
Seems much more like what today's left wing is doing. Watch the statements about white people, men in particular, from CNN, MSNBC, etc. Add the actions of Antifafa that emulate the Sturmabteilung (Brown Shirts) of the Nazi party, and the calls to violence from Democratic leaders.
