When you're a professional, the last thing you want is a bunch of untrained wannabees running around with guns.
Many of these "untrained wannabees", are actually very well trained. I would bet many are ex military also.

Exactly. The professional military is handling the border situation. I'm all for the right to bear arms, but mixing one military with the other military is a recipe for disaster.

They wont be running around, they'll be in ghillie sniper suits with night-vision goggles and aerial drones with thermal sensing equipment.

I'm thinking the events of a few years ago has corrected this issue

Anyone with military, or para-military training knows why this is a bad idea.

LAWL,

I'm guessing those guys have far far more respect for the US Armed Forces than the average Democrat or Illegal. NBC proved that Saturday night. There won't be any problems at all.

The US Military is highly trained as are Border Patrol and other such authorities, indeed untrained volunteers might just get in the way and complicate things further.

I have a friend who has done that, (guarding texas border). He is a former military. (Marine Corps of course)

He is highly trained. I can only speculate here, I think a lot of these volunteers are former military service members. I don't think they will be a problem.

They won't be.

This is nothing more than another pro-Illegal Alien topic, based on nonsense from leftist Yahoo. And they are only for it because Trump is against it. They are about as deep as pee on a hot sidewalk in the summer.
