However, I doubt you know any republicans or at least any republicans who would choose to admit their real political views to you, random.
Considering that three of these people in my family, I'm pretty sure I do know their political views. We've been talking about them around the Thanksgiving table for years.

We have one black man in our families. He married a distant cousin of my spouse. I've never met him and don't think I will meet him until the funeral of his MIL. I'm pretty sure his political affiliation or income won't come up in the conversation.

I lean left, but I'm an unaffiliated voter and lead, what to most people, is a very (small c) conservative lifestyle. I'm surrounded by Republicans!

More than their political leanings, I’m shocked that you know the salaries of your family members. Mine dont know how much I make, and I dont know how much they make. Maybe my family is weird, but in my family it’s just not something you talk about.

How accurate do you think you would be in identifying a persons party affiliation just by looking at them?
50 year old black guy....probably democrat. 60 year old white guy with a resting frown face.....Republican.
