The owner(s) have it listed for sale, for $250,000. You can buy it anytime you want and do whatever you want with it. Go for it.

The Nazis killed six million CIVILIANS. The Confederates did not. They fought other soldiers in a war due to the Northern economic strangling of the South.

I didn't bring up the comparison, so direct your ire elsewhere. (Also, your figure is very low.) As you do so, you may do well to recall which particular economic institution it was that served as a call to arms for the South.

Keeping statues up glorifies those who did wrong. The history is still there, just in the books.
In the meantime, Southern plantations are being used as wedding venues because they're so romantic.

Oh sorry. I though you did. My mistake.

(not directed at you)

I am sure the McKinely statue poses a clear and present danger to the people of this town, so removal is prudent in case he awakens and starts terrorizing the downtown.

Moron Republican voters on the other hand think it's up to them to make peoples' personal medical decisions and control what they do in the privacy of their bedrooms, their brains aren't big enough to understand the concept of personal freedom.

The McKinley statue is publicly owned, and situated on a public piece of land. The owner(s) can remove the statue anytime they want.

See how that works?
It's smack in the middle of a public area. Saying it's on private land makes it sound like it's hidden somewhere. It's not. It's right out there, for everyone to see. You can't miss it. I know, I used to live in that area.

If the libs weren't hypocrites, they would demand it be taken down.

Perhaps they could replace it with a statue of Mao Zedong.
