yes and if there was a way to JUST give aid to the children I would fully support it. The long term goal would be to eliminate generational welfare/poverty so fewer children are born into squalor

you act like every little old lady is going to have her purse stolen. That is just rubbish - a scare tactic. if robberies did increase it would most likely be stores burglarized. fewer and fewer people carry cash and credit cards are getting better at fraud protection.
