yes, and it's perfectly legal for those good guys to sell those guns to anyone, which is inevitably how many not so good guys gets their hands on guns. Go figure.
Depending on the state, if one does this without going thru an FFL or selling CPL to CPL, they become a felon, so , again, another law might stop this ?

From what I read from many people at the bar, they said it looked more like an Uzi with an extended clip. Its not difficult to modify a semi auto Glock and turn it into a full auto hand gun, plenty of online tutorials on how to do it.
Then again, he could have just had a regular Uzi, some of them are pretty small and can be mistaken for a hand gun, there are probably LOTs of Uzis floating around the Southern CA area too.
