They're tools for hunting and protecting. But they are built to destroy whatever they're being aimed at.So they are also to be respected as dangerous tools and can be used as weapons.

At the same time I feel like people use guns to project an image. To glorify themselves.

On the other hand people are just completely anti gun because they never handled one and don't understand how to use one.

But we should all agree that we wanna make sure that guns are only in the hands of those who are educated and also in a sane state of mind.

That's my two cents..

I agree. Always treat a gun as if it's loaded and keep it out of rich of small children.

The right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.

Simple, easy, direct. Contains neither worship nor demonization. Natural, individual basic right of property and self, no belief system required.

The firearm itself is nothing but a mechanical device that is symbolic of that natural, individual basic right of property and self.

You accept natural, individual basic rights, or you do not. There is no middle ground.

The middle ground is human lives. Guns are not sacred.

You don't have to worship guns to strongly believe that you shouldn't be deprived of the ability to legally possess whatever kind of gun/accessory you want when you've done nothing wrong and have a proven track record of being a responsible citizen.

Yes, and if I determine that this tool is required for the preservation of my own life, no government or entity has the right to prevent that.

The right to keep and bear arms is an ancient and sacred natural right. Anyone who doesn't like it should go somewhere else.

I know a great many gun owners. I even know people who carry guns daily to make a living.
NONE of them "worship" any kind of guns.
They are, however, definitely against violence

I know many people who do not own guns, and earn their living in "gun free" areas.
None of them demonize any kind of guns, nor do they demonize vehicles, drugs, hammers, swords, etc.
They are, however, definitely against violence.

And well, it makes sense to make sure the good people of the world have them so as to protect us against the bad people of the world who don't give a crap about laws.
