I misspoke when I said "attempt", it should have been 'plot'... and yes it did happen and more than likely SS wouldn't let Trump anywhere near Macron. Trump was probably downplaying it by blaming the rain.

As for the rain... we’ll, we know the prez has thin skin and he’s also very, very delicate. I mean, he can’t walk like other world leaders ( he has to use a golf cart). He probably can’t stand for long periods of time unless he’s running his mouth.

What kind of **** are you trying to pull here? Trump failed to show up for a memorial for American fallen military members at Aisne-Marne Cemetery. Macron wasn't there! He was at a different memorial at Compeigne with Angela Merkel. Trudeau was at Vimy Ridge. Trump's failure to show had absolutely nothing to do with a threat against another world leader. I don't know why he wasn't there, but it was most certainly not because of some mysterious plot against the French president.
So bad weather and poor visibility on this picture that helicopter can not fly ?(Kelly replaced Trump on this ceremony).
