Trump tweets what he wants to do, if it weren't laws and elections and all that.

Think about that. Trump would cut of funding to CA if he could.

That's the kind of person he is.

Paradise is a town on the edge of Plumas National Forest. It's not exactly like the typical suburb. It's more like this and this and this.

Or at least it was.

I hate to point it out to you but neither water nor rock cliffs catch fire.

The problem that Paradise ran into was a wind driven wall of fire. When you get into those conditions the only thing that may work is a very fire proof home. And it better be good.

Without a doubt. Can you imagine what Trump WANTS to do, but thankfully is limited? Probably why he is so infatuated with dictators.

Jail his political opponents, execute anti-Trump protesters, refuse funding to states that went democrat, make himself president for life, etc etc. If Trump COULD do those things , he absolutely WOULD.

No, water does not catch fire. I just wanted to point out that Paradise does not look like the typical city suburb and is not devoid of trees. Not by a long shot. It was a gorgeous part of California, and I'm sure it will be again...someday, many years from now. The danger of a wind-driven wall of fire, though, is a point well made. I lived in a typical California city suburb a few years ago, and houses just like mine burned to the ground in the Tubbs fire. One of the fires in Sonoma County that was fortunately contained quickly got a foothold only a mile from my old house. California can be a very, very scary place to live during fire season, and the reasons for its vulnerability are not nearly as simple as President Trump wants to make them out to be in his attempt to score political points.

And no matter what Trump may tweet now about wanting to help and his "quick response."

Remember that Trump's very first tweet about the deadliest and most expensive fire in California state history, remember that his first public statement was a criticism of the State of California. He went full snowflake because he hates California for being a blue state and played the blame game while people burned to death in Paradise.

And then when you remember that, also remember that millions of Americans still think he's a great president

Grandstanding like the idiot he is. Pure and simple. Is it November 2020 so we can countdown til when he is replaced by whomever?

I'm always amused by the always angry Trump obsessed opposition. They think about him more than his supporters who are just happy living their much improved lives.

That's why more people don't follow him on Twitter. Many people choose to follow real leaders especially the ones that show leadership skills of empathy, compassion and resolve.

We're not allowed to call him out on his blatant ignorance and lack of empathy/consideration for his citizens?

He's the President of the United States... We should expect more from our leader.
