Ocasio's district is in the Bronx. There is more welfare handed out in the Bronx than the GDP of many countries.

The Bronx has not been competitive in recent memory. Her achievement was to knock the stuffing out of the incumbent by promising more welfare than he did.

Come on, I get the media is trying to hurt Bernie because he is not an Obama/Clinton democrat, but can’t you guys rally around him for 2020 already?
Perhaps you should stick to worrying about the Republican ticket...not so certain Trump will make the cut or have the courage to seek it.

What are you talking about, I hate republicans.

I’m a socialist.

Face it , Waldo, there has not been one week in the last two years that hasn't seen some kind of new turmoil and controversy created by Trump. Just when one breaks, he is right there to provide one more calamity .

You can blame it on CNN, and anyone else, but the truth is, Donald Trump causes his own problems, and he is too dumb to realize it or learn from it. Most 72 year olds would say " What I am doing isn't working, so it is time to try something else." But not rocks in his head Trump, he just keeps on keeping on.

Been a very very good week for Trump.

Horse feathers. Speaking of tantrums, the only ones we are witnessing are Mr. Trump's. He is behaving like a wounded cornered animal. And talk about weeks...bad, very bad week for him.

But here's the thing. Bernie has renounced the Democrat party again. How do you fix that?
Actually, I think the Democratic party renounced HIM, right?

And 'Democratic socialist' is nonsense. He's a socialist.

So.... what do the democrats have left to chose from?
A) A closet commie ready to roll over into his grave at any second and his crazy millennial sidekick cortez or
B) Identity politics?

R.I.P moderates.

Whatever you think about them individually, it’s worth noting that Sanders, Dean, and Brown all ran on a somewhat anti-establishment message. Know what else they had in common? All three prominently featured one specific issue in their campaigns: single payer health care. Think that had anything to do with their popularity and ability to raise small donations?
