No, and it is not harmful at all.

Governments should not tell me what I can eat, drink, smoke, watch, who I can have sex with and who I can marry nor how many I can marry.

Should pornography be outlawed? Honestly, I'm not sure how to answer that. You see, the problem I have with pornography is simply this. How is it that in the United States, if a man brings a woman home and pays her to have sex with him, both he and she can be arrested for soliciting/prostitution? Yet that same man and woman could do the same thing while filming it for profit, and it's legal. I mean, I have trouble seeing the difference here. In both instances, money is being exchanged for sex. Why is it illegal for a prostitute, or better yet, a sole proprietor in the sex industry to exchange sexual services for money, but it's not illegal for a man/woman to accept money to have sex on film to sell to the public. Personally, I think we need to go one way or the other. If we plan to continue prosecuting individuals who exchange money for sex, then perhaps it's only fair that pornography also be outlawed. Or, we should make prostitution legal across the board.

More accurately... in both instances... both are paid jobs. (Of course assuming we are talking about consenting adults)

However, only in pornography do the third parties (publishers, directors, distributors, retailers) stand to make billions.... and politicians know this.

This is not meant to side with any example as OK but the other is not OK, but so called online porn, commercialism, is permitted under the First Amendment, while everyday public prostitution is not.
